An article published in the Sheffield Telegraph raises concerns about long waits for assessments at the Ryegate Children’s Centre and CAMHS, and criticises the Council’s SEN Team for delays in issuing EHC plans.
Sheffield City Council is proposing to charge parents of students over the age of 16 for SEN transport. Families would have to pay £540 per year for students who are educated within South Yorkshire, and £700 for those who are educated further afield.
