Sarah is a parent carer to her eldest son, who is autistic and has adhd and attends a specialist primary setting. She became involved with the Parent Carer Forum through our focus groups and information sessions and went on to work for our Peer Support Team.

She is a strong advocate for SEND and inclusion and supporting families, children and young people, particularly in education and opportunities for social development and enrichment. She is chair of Dobcroft Nursery Infant School, and has been the SEND governor there for over four years, helping to shape strategy and support local families.  Prior to having children she worked as a Senior Marketing and Internal Communications manager in the Finance, Insurance and Regeneration sectors.

Sarah’s happy place is by the sea and she loves to travel with her family.
