  • Parking

    St Mary’s operates a parking scheme and only permit holders are allowed to park at the venue. If you are attending one of our events, you can request a temporary permit from Reception. Please note, there are also spaces behind the church. There are no disabled parking baysplease let us know if you require one, and we will reserve a space for you.

    If the car park at the venue is FULL, you can use the metered parking on the surrounding streets. Please note, most of the on-street parking can only be paid for by mobile app, not by cash or card. Volunteers can claim back parking expenses (download an expenses form).

    FROM THE M1
    Leave the motorway at junction 33. Take the A630/57 towards Sheffield City Centre for about 7 miles following signs for City Centre A61. As you approach a large roundabout, ensure you are in the left-hand lanes marked CITY A61S. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit marked “Bramall Lane” and “Transport Interchange”.

    Pass the train station. Keep in the right-hand lane to the traffic lights. After the traffic lights, get into the middle lane and stay in this lane as the road bears to the right, signed “Ring Road” (you are now in the left hand lane).

    As you approach Bramall Lane along St Mary’s Road, you will see St Mary’s church on your left. At the roundabout, turn left into Bramall Lane, then turn left again into Clough Road, just before the pedestrian crossing. The entrance to St Mary’s car park is immediately after the turn on your left.

    FROM THE WEST
    From Manchester via Glossop following the A57. Immediately after the Ladybower Reservoir, turn right along the A6013 signed to Bamford. Drive through Bamford and turn left onto the A625 towards Hatehersage. Continue along the A625 into Sheffield where it becomes the Ecclesall Road. Cross the roundabout at the bottom of the hill to continue along Ecclesall Road.

    As you approach the next roundabout join the right hand lane and take the 3rd exit, signed Bramall Lane.

    At the next roundabout you will see St Mary’s church ahead of you on the right. Take the 3rd exit into Bramall Lane, then turn left into Clough Road, just before the pedestrian crossing. The entrance to St Mary’s car park is immediately after the turn on your left.

    FROM THE TRAIN STATION
    A taxi from the station to St Mary’s will cost approximately £3.

    Alternatively it is a 10-15 minute walk. Cross the road from the station and turn left along Sheaf Street. At the mini roundabout head up Shoreham Street. At the top cross the St Mary’s road and head right. You will see St Mary’s ahead of you. It can be accessed up the pedestrian street on the left after Charlotte Road.
