    • This is part of a series of taster sessions for stress-busting activities for parent carers, funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

      Come along and give yoga a try! Yoga can help you improve your strength, balance and flexibility; it also has emotional benefits as it encourages you to relax, slow your breath, and focus on the present. This session is aimed at absolute beginners and will accommodate all levels of fitness and flexibility. You don’t need to bring any equipment, just wear something comfy. Booking essential.

  • Taster session: Pottery (evening)

    • This is part of a series of taster sessions for stress-busting activities for parent carers, funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

      Come along and play with clay! This is a session for complete beginners, and places are limited to 12 participants. You’ll be able to have a go at handbuilding, sculpting and wheel throwing in a relaxed and friendly environment. An experienced tutor will show you some basic techniques and provide help and guidance as and when needed. You’ll be able to get your piece(s) fired in a kiln. Booking essential.

      Please note: The pottery studio does not have disabled access. The session is not suitable for children.

  • Picnic in the park

      Come and help us celebrate our 10th anniversary! This will be a relaxed, low-key event. We are unable to provide food (other than cake), so please take a picnic or bring some cash to buy food from a street food van. There will be a rolling programme of dance and comedy performances by local community groups and some free activities (football, arts & crafts, circus skills workshop). Please bring a blanket or some camping chairs. The park has open access, so there will be members of the public and dogs present. More info

      Tickets are free; please book your place so that we know how much cake to buy!
