  • Safe space for black and brown parent carers

    • We are committed to creating an environment where all parents feel they can share the difficulties they are experiencing as parents of disabled children and young people. We acknowledge that some parents from Black and Asian Minority Ethnic communities may not feel confident about attending our typical meetings. Therefore, we are piloting a monthly session chaired by our trustee Melissa and our volunteer Thaeeba. If there is demand, we will alternate evening sessions on Zoom with face-to-face meetings during the day.
