  • Speaking up for you and your child or young person with SEND can feel daunting for parents.

    During this session we will look at what it means to be an advocate, we will explore tried and tested ways to make it easier for you to speak up during stressful times, and we will discuss what support there is for you. We will look at organisational tips to make the never-ending paperwork more manageable. There will be time for peer support and discussion during the session.

• Information session: Introduction to demand-avoidant behaviour (ONLINE MEETING)

  • Join us to explore what demand-avoidant behaviour is and what it looks like, how it differs from PDA, and what it feels like for a young person to experience it. Find out what we can do as parents to reduce demands and reduce stress for ourselves.
