  • ONLINE Information session: Trauma-informed practice (14 Jan)

    • Find out how trauma-informed practice can help to support your child or young person with additional needs. We will introduce strategies to try at home to help manage challenging behaviours. There will be opportunities for peer discussions and for parent carers to learn from each other.

  • Information session: Preparation for adulthood (21 Jan)

    • This session is for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND who want to explore the transitions involved in preparing for adulthood. We will cover what to expect, when key steps typically happen, and where to find further support and guidance. The session will look at transitions across education, health, and social care, and we will use the Transition Guide to support our discussions.

  • Information session: Neurodivergence and anxiety (24 Jan)

    • Do you have a child suffering with anxiety? Come along and get information on how anxiety can affect children and young people who are neurodivergent. We will explain how anxiety can present itself and why this may be happening. We will introduce and discuss strategies and tools that you may find useful to help reduce anxiety, and help you understand how your child may be feeling at home, at school and in social situations.
