  • Sheffield SEND reforms and Experts At Hand workshop (16 Sept)

    • Sheffield parent carers come and have your say!

Have you heard about the national SEND reforms and Experts at Hand? Do you want to hear what the Sheffield Local Area Partnership’s plan is? It is critical that we hear parent carers views on Sheffield’s intent and so are holding a parent carer workshop so you can hear the journey so far, the intended plan and to give your views on how this could support children and young people with SEND. There will be a presentation from Jo Laidlaw, Head of SEND, and Lee Carey, Learn Sheffield, along with table top discussions and a Q&A session at the end. Please do come along to ensure the lived experience of families is embedded in the development.

Book to secure your place – refreshements will be provided.

    • Despite threats of heavy rain, yet another fabulous Family Fun Day for Sheffield families was had at the Niagara Centre at the end of August. The Niagara Centre offered plenty of space for families to relax and for children to enjoy a wide range of accessible activities. From bungee trampolines to adapted bikes and even a petting zoo, there was something for everyone. A special thank you goes to Sheffield Wednesday F.C and The Sheffield Eagles Foundation for their support with this.
