    • We are an independent group of parents and carers of children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs and disabilities. Our main aim is to ensure the needs of our children are met. We bring together parent carers from across Sheffield to provide mutual support, exchange information, and influence policy and practice. We have over 2,000 members.

    • Our coffee mornings are getting an overhaul! Hot drinks and cake will continue to feature heavily, but from July onwards, we’ll be offering something EXTRA. Mainly, we will have professionals from a range of different services coming along to offer general advice and signposting.

  • Taster session: Yoga (evening)

    • This is part of a series of taster sessions for stress-busting activities for parent carers, funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

      Come along and give yoga a try! Yoga can help you improve your strength, balance and flexibility; it also has emotional benefits as it encourages you to relax, slow your breath, and focus on the present. This session is aimed at absolute beginners and will accommodate all levels of fitness and flexibility. You don’t need to bring any equipment, just wear something comfy. Booking essential.

  • Coffee morning with MAST and Parenting Team

    • Come and chat to other parents and get information from MAST and the Parenting Team. There will be tea, coffee and CAKE! Pop in for a few minutes or stay for the whole session – no need to book. We welcome all parent carers, whatever their children’s needs, whether diagnosed or undiagnosed, mild or severe. Pre-schoolers and home-educated children welcome.

  • Jumpstars trampolining (September)

    • This is a discounted, disability-friendly trampolining session for children and young people with additional needs and their siblings. £4 per jumper, Sheffield Parent Carer Forum members only. More information

      Please note: Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. To ensure the safety of all participants, high-risk areas such as the Jump Tower and the Parkour area will be CLOSED during this session.
