  • Hope for SEND: Support Group for Mums (20 April)

    • Join our friendly support group for parents and carers of children with Autism, ADHD, or other disabilities. We meet every Monday in term time. Enjoy a relaxed space to take a break, have a cuppa, and chat. Join in as much or as little as you like.

      No need to book! Please come to reception on arrival and you will be directed to the group.

  • Information session: Preparation for adulthood (24 April)

    • This session is for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND who want to explore the transitions involved in preparing for adulthood. We will cover what to expect, when key steps typically happen, and where to find further support and guidance. The session will look at transitions across education, health, and social care, and we will use the Transition Guide to support our discussions.

      Please note: This session is not suitable for children. No diagnosis required. You must be a member of Sheffield Parent Carer Forum to attend – register here. Booking essential.

    • Today sees the publication of the Government’s schools whitepaper, Every Child Achieving and Thriving and the opportunity for families, Parent Carer Forums (PCFs) and stakeholders to comment directly on the proposals.
