General fitness:
Sheffield Mencap and Gateway have a Kids Fitness group on Thursday afternoons where children can try out lots of different sports and games, and two Sports Stars groups on Saturday mornings where children can take part in team sports and games. All run at Sheffield Mencap and Gateway (S2)
Creative activities
A Mind Apart Theatre Company: Inclusive drama classes, creative therapy and wellbeing sessions for children (age 5+), young people and adults, at Burton Street Foundation (S6)
ArtWorks South Yorkshire: Painting, sculpture, film, animation, photography, life skills, fitness and more, for adults with learning disabilities. Services in Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley
Easel Peasel’s: Autism-friendly art sessions for home educators at Aston Springs Farm (S26)
Flycheese: Digital art and design studio based at SOAR works (S5) and Harland Works (S2)
Spectrum Gaming: An online community for young autistic people aged 10-17 years. Free access to a (supervised and moderated) Minecraft server and Discord community, online events and monthly in-person activities.
Under The Stars: Weekly drama and music workshops for people aged 18+ with learning disabilities at Burton Street (S6), as well as a regular nightclub at The Leadmill
Sheffield Mencap and Gateway have two Shining Stars groups that focus on drama skills and two Social Stars groups that focus on arts and crafts, storytelling and board games. All run on Saturday mornings during term-time at Sheffield Mencap and Gateway (S2)

ACCT Teenage club: For autistic teenagers aged 13-18 years, on Wednesday evenings at St Mary’s Community Centre (S2)
ACCTing Out: Social group for autistic young adults aged 18-25 years, meets fortnightly on Tuesday evenings in various locations.
Burton Street Foundation: Various groups and activities for children with learning disabilities and difficulties (age 8+), young people and adults, in Hillsborough (S6)
Sheffield Mencap and Gateway: Offers a range of group activities (games and team sports, crafts, performing arts) for school-aged children on Saturday mornings at Sheffield Mencap and Gateway (S2)
Gateway Youth Club: A relaxed social group for 5-17 year olds with mild learning disabilities and/or autism, and their siblings, on Thursday evenings at Sheffield Mencap and Gateway (S2)
Sheffield City Council Community Youth Services run the following youth clubs for young people aged 13-25 years with special educational needs and/or disabilities:
- Leo’s SEND club: Monday 6-8pm, at Centre in the Park (S2)
- S Club 5 SEND club: Tuesday 6-8pm, at Milan Youth Centre (S5)
