  • On 24 March, the government announced that there would be no new reviews or reassessments across all benefits for three months. This includes Universal Credit, Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), Personal Independent Payment (PIP) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA).

If your benefit was due to expire, then the end date will be extended and the benefit will continue to be paid at the current rate.

Face-to-face assessments for all sickness and disability benefits have also been suspended for three months, including for any new claims.
