Caudwell Children’s Charity is running an ASDAN accredited animation programme for children with a disability and additional needs aged 8-18 in Sheffield during the summer holidays.
The cost-free activity programme provides four days of story-board design, character development and stop-motion animation that can lead to accredited certification through ASDAN (Award Scheme, Development and Accreditation Network). Trained buddies will enable disabled children and young people to take part in activities that help children explore their world, have new experiences and increase vital life skills.
This programme helps build confidence and social skills, encouraging children and young people to express themselves creatively. The Programme will run for four sessions between 5th-8th August at St Marys Conference Centre, Bramall Lane, Sheffield, S2 4QZ, 11am-3pm each day.
