We are looking for a dependable individual to take over from our current treasurer, who is unable to continue in the role due to work commitments.
The ideal candidate would have some experience of charity finance and bookkeeping, and would be able to commit to a minimum term of two years. A working knowledge of QuickBooks would be a bonus.
Duties of the Treasurer include: monitoring and reporting on the financial health of the organisation; ensuring that proper records are kept; and overseeing the production of financial reports, budgets, accounts and audits.
This is an unpaid role, but expenses will be reimbursed. The time commitment is approximately five hours per month, which includes attendance (via Zoom or in person) at some committee meetings.
