Sheffield Big Talk summer sessions

15th July 2014

  • This is a new group for school-age children with speech, language and communication needs, which is run jointly by parents and speech and language lecturers at the University of Sheffield. The group will provide an opportunity for parents to chat and share ideas, and for their children to participate in group and 1:1 work led by speech and language therapy students.

The group will run five sessions for children and their parents/carers over the summer as a pilot. Families should commit to attending all five sessions. There is a suggested contribution of £5 per session.

Sessions will take place at the Philippa Cottam Communication Clinic, Department of Human Communication Sciences, Mushroom Lane, Sheffield S10 2TN, on the following dates:
    22 July, 11am-12.30 pm
    23 July, 11am-12.30 pm
