Survey: Is everything hunky dory in the world of special needs?

17th April 2014

  • If you live in Sheffield and have a child or young person (aged 0-25) with a disability or additional needs, we need your views!

We have compiled a comprehensive survey to find out what parent carers in the city really think. Please click here to take part.

The questions we’re asking are based on hundreds of conversations we’ve had with other parents over the years. We want to know if you’re getting enough support; whether you’re managing to combine paid work and caring; and how you feel about your child’s education, childcare, respite, health care and therapy services.

We think these questions really matter. Your answers will help us gather the data we need to speak with a strong voice on your behalf. We will use the results to lobby for better services and to protect existing ones. At this time of budget cuts, that’s more important than ever.

The deadline for responses is 30 April 2014. A consultation report will be published on our website from mid May 2014.

PRIZE DRAW for completed surveys – win £50, £30 or £20!!

Survey funded by the government’s Department for Education – Parent Participation Grant.
