    • Join local poet Genevieve Carver for a laid-back walk around Mount Pleasant Park, thinking and chatting about nature and the outdoors, and things that make us feel happy and hopeful in the spring time.

We’ll be playing around with some words, having a go at creating a group poem together and maybe even one of our own, but no experience whatsoever of creative writing is necessary!

  • Free art sessions

    • This course has started, but due to cancellations we have additional spaces available.

We have teamed up with Ignite Imaginations to offer free art sessions for disabled children aged 7-12 years. Sessions will run throughout June on Wednesday afternoons (5-6pm).

      Remaining dates: 16, 23 and 30 June

The sessions will be led by an artist with experience of working with children with additional needs. Each session will focus on a different art/craft form. Families will need to commit to attending all sessions, and parents must wear facemasks and stay throughout the session. Non-disabled siblings can attend and take part if necessary. Please note, the venue has stairs and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Please click on the Book now button to book for all sessions.
