  • Coffee morning: Helping your child with anxiety

    • Is your child struggling with anxiety? At this session we’ll be joined by a primary mental health worker from CAMHS and MAST who will be able to give general advice on strategies to help children with high levels of anxiety.

  • Virtual coffee morning: hospital visits

    • The theme for this coffee morning will be “hospital visits”. We’ll be joined by Julie Mather from the Patient Advice and Liasion Service (PALS), who will be able to give general advice in relation to Sheffield Children’s Hospital. She will also endeavour to answer questions about the adult hospitals, if needed.

  • Virtual coffee morning

    • This coffee morning is a chance to have an informal chat with other parents. There’s no particular topic – talk about anything you like. The session will be hosted by our Chair and one of our workers, who will be able to signpost you to services that can support you.

      The session will be limited to eight participants, and you’ll need to book your place. Participants will be able to see and hear each other. Once you’ve booked on, we’ll send you information on how to join the session on Zoom.

  • Virtual coffee morning with Educational Psychologist

    • The theme for this coffee morning will be “Supporting your child’s return to school”. We’ll be joined by an Educational Psychologist, who will be able to give general advice (but not advice in relation to your individual child, or in relation to specific schools and their policies). The session is aimed at parents of children in the priority groups who are due to return to school on 15 June.

      The session will be limited to eight participants, and you’ll need to book your place. Participants will be able to see and hear each other. Once you’ve booked on, we’ll send you information on how to join the session on Zoom.

  • Coffee morning with the Family Fund

    • Come and chat to other parents and get information from the Family Fund – the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people. There will be tea, coffee and CAKE! Pop in for a few minutes or stay for the whole session – no need to book. We welcome all parent carers, whatever their children’s needs, whether diagnosed or undiagnosed, mild or severe. Pre-schoolers and home-educated children welcome.
