    • Please join our Education subgroup to talk to other parents about special educational needs, swap useful information, and help us influence education policy in Sheffield. We are a friendly and informal group, and new members are always welcome.

      In this meeting we will be joined by Natalie Askham, Principal Educational Psychologist for Sheffield City Council, to discuss the Educational Psychology Service.

  • Speech and Language Therapy and DLD subgroup meeting

    • Please join our next subgroup meeting for parents of children and young people with speech, language and communication needs!

      This group will meet every term to feed into an ongoing review of speech and language support for children and young people in Sheffield. We will look at proposals developed by Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group and Sheffield City Council, and give feedback. Please book your place.

  • Developmental Language Disorder meeting

    • This meeting is specifically for parents whose children have DLD and is in addition to the main speech and language subgroup that follows at 10am. All are also welcome to stay on for the main meeting, but will also need to book onto the main session by following this link. The purpose of the DLD meeting is to scope out what parents need from these meetings. We will be joined by Rebecca Bergmann, a specialist DLD speech and language therapist.
