Inspection of Sheffield Children’s Hospital services

24th April 2014

  • The Care Quality Commission will be inspecting Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust on the 6th of May 2014. The trust covers the following sites:

    •    Sheffield Children’s Hospital
    •    Becton Centre for Children and Young People
    •    Centenary House
    •    Flockton House
    •    Ryegate Children’s Centre

We are trying to find out if the inspection will include community services like Speech and Language Therapy and community CAMHS.

The inspection team are keen to hear from local voluntary and community groups about the quality and safety of care at this hospital trust. They will use this information to help the inspection team plan the inspection and what to look for on the inspection.

We want to send them information we have collected from parents. Please help us by telling us about your experiences of using the services of the Children’s Hospital. Send us an email (enquiries@sheffieldparentcarerforum.org.uk) or call us on 0300 321 4721.

There will also be a public “listening event” on Wednesday 7th May at the Showroom, 6.30-8.30 p.m. This is open to anyone who has used the services of the Children’s Hospital. CQC inspectors will be available to listen to people’s views. Please follow this link for more information.
