SIGN to be taken in-house by Sheffield City Council?

Sheffield Information Link (SIL), which has been providing Sheffield’s family information service for 26 years, will close in January 2014. This could affect the disability information service SIGN, which is currently being provided by SIL.
The Local Authority has said that it intends to take both services in-house, and that there should be a seamless transition in the New Year.
